Art book about ten techniques of traditional Korean embroidery
with “How-to” illustrations and examples
"Threads for embroidery are strong and thick as they are twisted with several strands.
Overlapping several threads in different techniques produces a relief effect, with added volume and texture.
To have the volume effect, I first use inner stitch or satin stitch. Sometimes, I repeat those two stitches in opposite directions.
On top of the initial stitches underneath, I add other embroidery techniques."
